Civil Engineering Designer

The person we are seeking will work under the supervision of a professional engineer performing design and layout tasks. The candidate could be a Kentucky Licensed PE or could have a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering Technology; however a degree is not required. The canadidate will have significant design/layout experience and a working knowledge of state and local regulations (not necessarily Kentucky) in the following:
1. Site layout and design consisting of grading plan development to properly drain the site, stormwater structure (s) layout, and parking lot layout.
2. Street layout and design consisting of horizontal curve layout, profile with vertical curve layout, and cross sections.
3. Layout and design of waste water collection, water distribution, and stormwater systems including the development of plan and profiles of the lines The successful candidate must have good communication skills and the above design experience must have been performed in AutoCAD.
